Spring

Ah its April tomorrow, the weather is changing about 10 times a day but I'm enjoying it.
Just bought a humongous bouquet of white ranunculus , there are tulips and trees flowering in the park where I have my lunches and tomorrow we have friends coming for apero. I have a long Easter weekend to look forward to and hubby is making Nigella's fragrant muscat milk rice.So really feeling quite contended with the world.

Sexy Weekend Sound

The original edgier artsy-er version and the "shall we dance" movie version with Jennifer Lopez , you decide which you prefer and let me know ... love the song either way. oh and if you need a naughty tip it lends itself perfectly for some private stripping.

Craving Green

To get us in a more spring-like disposition and shape we decided to do a green-week. Meaning we will eat green foods for dinner all weeks . Peas, broccoli, beans, etc. Not as a diet more as a cheap idea to feel a bit healthier.

One of the things I miss most (foodie wise) about the Philippines , is the amazing tropical fruits and fresh juices everywhere. Fresh mango-papaya, watermelon, or the cucumber-pineapple one in the photo (at Antonio's in Tagaytay) Nothing to do but get a juicer and wait for cherry season in May and buy the pretty ones for 8eur a kg.

Airy thoughts needed

Without going into the particulars me and hubby both are having some hard weeks lately, life is a bit unbearable at the moment and will continue to be so, for the next 2 weeks.Haven't been in the mood for happy frothy posts,( and really what's the point of depressing ones) but when I came across these images on www.marthastewart.com being so pretty with their airy ballet style they almost made me forget our daily drudgery.

Oh and yes I'm trying to post more own photos but sometimes can't pass up on the pretty.

Les Mille Feuilles

Oh yeah if you love pretty objects a must stop by in Paris is Les Mille Feuilles they have the loveliest gift items, porcelain flowers, etc. I really really covet that kitschy porcelain parrot candle holder.
